Durably built lantern and stand, very bright light, power bank, not very water resistant

This is a heavy-duty lamp and tripod system with a very bright lantern. 1 to 4 lantern light panels can be lit up. The panels in white are very bright when set to max level, leaving after-images if looked at directly. It makes an excellent flood light when set up on the tripod. A double-press of the power button cycles the panel lights from white to yellow to red. A long press cycles the brightness level of the panels that are lit up, from high to low and back up, in the white and yellow color modes only. It can require up to 6 presses to cycle through the 4 lantern panels, to the flashlight, to off. This is a lot of button presses for one button, but at least it recalls the last used settings. Strong magnets on the bottom of the lantern allow it to perch on vertical steel siding. The metal handle connects using 2 metal screws and folds down flat. The lantern uses a USB-C input, and provides USB-A and USB-C output ports for its use as a power bank. It comes with a USB-B to -C cable which can be used for charging, but if the higher powered USB-C to -C cable connection is used it may charge faster. The lantern itself weighs almost 2 pounds, the tripod 4lbs. 5oz. The tripod stand reaches 85.5” high, and has a standard 1/4” mounting screw at the top. The circumference of the base is about 46”. Fully collapsed, the stand is 32” long. The double-zippered carry bag with shoulder strap is also heavy duty, nylon with a thick rubber coating on the inside. It easily fits the tripod and lantern. I will not leave it out in rain or a light drizzle. It makes no water resistance claims, and the manual says not to immerse the lantern in water.I believe its claims of 90 hour runtime/11 nights, when run in low power mode. The powerful lantern will light up a large area when on the tripod. It works great for campsites or for light up a backyard party. Its durability justifies its price; I expect it to provide many years of use.

Exceptionally well-built and versatile

This light is built extremely well. It’s pricy but you get what you pay for. Almost everything is anodized aluminum, and the few plastic components are dense, heavy-duty parts that feel durable. The lantern removes easily from the tripod so it can be used as a table lamp, hung from a tree or tent, or attached to metal surfaces with its magnetic base. The tripod itself is excellent—solid aluminum construction, tight and secure telescoping joints, a stable footprint, and it collapses smoothly. It also fits neatly into the rugged carry bag with the light attached, which uses a full-length zipper that makes loading and unloading simple. Literally takes seconds to pull it from the bag, extend the tripod and turn it on. Great that it has a built-in battery.Nothing to complain about.I’m using this as a general-purpose outdoor light. It’s ideal for camping, nighttime yard work, emergency lighting, or anywhere you need bright, elevated illumination.

Great for camping or any outdoor activity after dark

I go camping often and I always am looking for a lighting solution for the camp site. This is a very unique and rugged option. This is basically a very rugged tripod with a small, but powerful light on top. The device has lights on all four sides as well as a spotlight/flashlight on top. So the light can be removed from the tripod and used as a spotlight. Using the light as a spotlight is a bit awkward because of the shape of the device, but it is very powerful. The light also has very strong magnets on the bottom so you can attach it to a vehicle or steel structure for light. So let's say you need to change a tire in the dark, you can attach the light to your vehicle and have plenty of light to get the job done.As I mentioned before, the device has lights on all four sides of it. You can cycle through 1-4 lights by using the power button on the side. This button also controls the brightness and the color of the light with a long press. The light color can be cycled through white, yellow and red with a double tap of the power button. It should be noted that only the lights on the side can change color, not the spotlight on top.Let's talk about the tripod part of the light. It is SOLID. I am very impressed with how solid it is. I can't see it being damaged during transport or any camping situation. So you can throw it with the rest of your gear and not worry about it having any issues on the ride to the camp site. The tripod can be extended to over 7 feet, so you can use this to light your entire camp site or backyard. The only thing is the support legs are very wide. They are 2 feet long each. I can see this being a tripping hazard if you aren't careful, especially if you have the light near your cooking system. The included instructions even mention the tripping hazard. I plan on adding some reflective or glow in the dark tape to mine for visibility. It is better to be safe than sorry. The tripod uses a 1/4 screw, so you can attach cameras or other devices to it as well.I really like this device, it is solid, functional, and is very bright. The fact that the tripod extends so high means that you can have light all over your camp site. The lights on each side means that you can have the light where you need it. Easy to use, it only has a single button on it and it recharges with the USB-C port. It is a bit pricey, but as I have noted, this is very solid and versatile. I believe it is best used to illuminate an area. Think about lighting up your entire campsite or your entire cooking/eating table. In your backyard, it can light your deck/patio and the yard area around it. Personally I will use it while camping, but also any time I need to do anything in the backyard at night. It will be great for grilling at night.
